Find the Sniper is a good game for small, casual groups of players. It doesn't require a lot of organization or gear, and it's a great game to play either while waiting for more players to arrive or after many have left, and there's just a small group still eager to airsoft. It's basically hide-and-seek with guns. I think it's best played at night in a wooded area with lots of underbrush.
The sniper can fire at seekers, and a hit sends them to a respawn area for a predetermined amount of time. Use whatever weapons players have, but I've found that it's more fun if the sniper has a long-ranged, quiet rifle and good camouflage. The long barrel of the rifle gives the seekers something to watch for. You may also want to enforce a pistols-only rule for seekers, or if they're really skilled, make them have to physically tag the sniper to eliminate him.
This game can last a long time, so decide whether to play until the sniper is shot, or limit the number of times seekers can respawn. If it's an especially slow game, place a time limit on it.
Many of the games I've played ended with the seekers hearing a sniper's shot and saturating the area with BB's until they heard, "Hit!" In one intense game, I was attempting to flank the sniper when I heard a twig snap in front of me. I fired one shot into the darkness of the trees and it happened to hit the sniper, who came out laughing.
