SO am kicking around a few random ideas for game themes.
Now I won't lie, this idea came from a popular video game. And because the objective of milsim game is realism, I'm wondering if any of you ABZ regulars would like to donate about 400+ 8 ounce bars of gold.
I really want to replicate the realism of, perhaps, 4 misfit soldiers killing various private military contractors and they maybe looting a bar of gold off them and stuff. And fake gold just isn't milsim, it might work in paintball...thppt paintball....
So, anyway, if you have 400+ 8-ounce bars of gold and a small truck to move them in....and maybe some gas money....and like don't need them back...yeah....
Ok, second idea. I know many of you liked zombies and games that involve shooting zombies. I was wondering if instead of zombies, we could like do a 3000 miles from Graceland type game. One side is the US Marshalls and the the other are bank-robbing Elvis Impersonators.
My last idea for a game was not as much an idea, more like a dream. I was like gunning down people with a SAW and they were all "NOOO, don't shoot me.." and stuff.
So there you go, my ideas and like stuff, so get back to me on ideas and like yeah.
I think we should combine all three. Have it be people with SAW's mowing down Elvis impersonators who then drop bars of gold that are free for the taking...it just so happens, I own a SAW... ---------- -Junk- CWC Airsoft Specialists Airsoft Battle Zone
Am considering a SERE-type scenario involving downed pilots. Yes, this has NEVER been done in airsoft ever...
SERE is an acronym for Survival-Evasion-Resistance and Extraction. Pilot and Navigator must recover the flight recorder from their downed spy plane, cross hostile country, evade hostile forces, and cross the border into neutral territory. Once there, they will be extracted by PJs.
The game has the potential to run quite quickly, so Flight crews will rotate.
Here's what we need: Flight crew: consisting of 2-3 players. OPFOR: 10-50 players PJs: 4-6 players
Uniform and Weapon Requirements: -------------------------------- Flight Crews will be armed with pistols only and up to 3x magazines per player. Flight crews are encouraged to wear flight suits for this scenario - OD/Khaki/etc - solid color.
OPFOR will be allowed a maximum of 600 rounds per player - No DRUM MAGS ALLOWED! OPFOR is restricted to Green-based camos only! (Woodland, Marpat, Tigerstripe)
*SAW players will be severely limited depending on how many players show up. If you normally run a SAW, you should consider bringing a regular Assault Rifle or SMG.
**Due to confusing nature of color classifications ACU, ABU, and Multicam are not allowed for this event.
PJs will be allowed a maximum of 600 rounds per player - No DRUM MAGS ALLOWED! PJs are restricted to Tan-based camos only! (DCU, Despat, Desert Tiger)
2-Hit Healing Rules: ------------------------ Hit ONE wounds the victim - player calls "Hit" and is only able to move by crawling and return fire while crawling.
Hit TWO incapacitates the victim - player calls "Hit", dons the red rag and counts to 60 aloud. If healed within 60 seconds they may return to regular play.
PJs and OPFOR may heal or capture other players. Flight crews may only heal PJ and other flight crew members.
No players may heal themselves.
OPFOR and PJs may loot players of intel or recovered hardware. Upon healing they must request INTEL or HARDWARE.
INTEL may be the location of their teammates or extraction point if this is known.
HARDWARE is any recovered equipment they have in their possession.
Upon CAPTURE, prisoners must surrender ALL weapons. Weapons must be unloaded and placed on safe. All weapons will be returned at the end of the scenario.

Am still working on this so offer up ideas and we'll see what we can get working.
Texx. I'd be up for this game as I have an OD flight suit as well as a full WW.II Army-air corps pilots uniform. You know I have .45s, but sometimes downed aircrews took m1-a1's from the dead to help even-up the odds. Could this one gun with one high cap magazine be factored in for the aircrew? ---------- -Paladin- Senior Administrative Aide-de-Camp, AIRSOFT BATTLE ZONE.
I thought about that Paladin. But when it comes down to it, your average pilot is just armed with a pistol. The games are designed to be short with players rotating.
The objective of the pilot is to Survive - Evade - Resist - Extract - but has to recover some items from the wreckage.
The objective of the PJs is to rescue the pilots and recover salvagable equipment.
The objective of the OPFOR is to kill or capture the pilots and any technology they can find and kill or capture as many PJs as possible.
Josh, I had several other movies for inspiration, but here's the list.
Bat 21 Flight of the Intruder Opposing Force Tigerland Enemy Mine Blackhawk Down As well as the Scot O'Grady story. ---------- ...I do bad things, very well... WE 1911 Goodness
