Just a heads-up for those of you who may be interested. On June 30th. Through July 1st. There will be a WW.II B-17 flying around the area and on display at the Eau Claire Regional Airport. Now would be a good time to get some pictures of one of the great American bombers that helped win the war in Europe.

Thanks for the heads up Paladin. I will try and make it out to get some pictures of one of the last B17 flying fortress's. The information I found says there are only 15 b17's left in the world and only 14 of those are still flyable. http://www.b17flyinglegend.com/survivors/

The '17 in question is called Aluminum Overcast...It's maintained, in part, by one of my co-workers at NTC, and is worth the time and $ to tour. If you really have the cash burning a hole in your wallet, it's an incredible ride!

What time do you plan on going out there Armsdealer? I told my brothers that a B-17 was going to be at the airport. They said they've seen a B-1, and it's a better plane. I told them to get a life. The old planes are more fun.

Waiting for the boss to tell me :) looks like we are heading out around 3:00
