From your last briefing you both are already aware that further developments in our weapons grade pulse laser system have combined this powerful laser with a simple large refractory lens (magnifing glass) that turns this lasers beam into a virtual food processor . This laser is capable of vibrating light waves at super ultra high frequencies, causing such intense vibrations to be created that everything in the beams trajectory is reduced to pieces the size of pea grave with no damage occuring at or below ground.
In test conducted in 2007, Mass destruction of a catstophic level was shown and evidenced by this system, However Due to current power generating limitations the pulse beams could only cause damage when small beams were directed at pinpoint areas the size of a small house, when the beam was magnified and its energy prism focused into a wider beam we could only produce sunburn like effects on humans and no property damage at relatively short distances in a straight line. While unlimited in range the smaller more intense beam was deemed usable as a covert type weapons system to be used for U.S. secret operations and thus has kept its classified and special funding status.

As you are aware U.S. Scientists at Whitesands AFB have been working on a Weapons Grade Laser System for some time now. Recent major breakthroughs in the power of these laser systems has been in the infancy of its development but recent experiments that combine nuclear submarine propulsion systems with current pulse laser tecnology are about to change modern warfare as we know it!
