I've actually been contemplating buying one for my self, as they seem to have both high quality externals and internals. G&G guns also usually come stock with a 6.04mm tightbore barrel. The stock fps is around 360 which is nice. Some people complain about the hop-up, but me, having a CA M15A4 Rifle know that it can't be as bad as CA's short range, ever changing hop up. (Duct Tape helped fix that problem. ROFLMAO) If you're in the market for an M16 either go for the G&G or try CA. You'll not be disappointed with either, as they both give outstanding performances.

I am not a fan of GNG's weak pot metal and have seen it fail on gr16's and RK series several times. It may have improved in the last year but at 300 plus dollars an AEG I would find someone who has or currently owns the model you are considering..... If it must be full metal I would take the CA! ---------- "Airsoft" Come share the welts!Armsdealer Airsoft Gun Repairs...with a warranty

The G&G GR16 is an awesome gun. Sutton and I have both used it. Range is great and awesome rate of fire (As long as you upgrade the gears and spring). I ended up switching back over to an M4 because I don't like how big the m16's are, but that is just me. For the money though the G&G Gr16 is an awesome gun, but then again for the amount of money you are paying, it better be something decent. ---------- GOPMAT Airsoft Ghost www.gopmatairsoft.com"I'd rather live on my feet, than to die on my knees"

ok in my opinion the g&g is the best m4 under 500 bucks!!!! first of all the rof is amazing, easily outweighs CA and Mauri and Echo1 and JG and all other clones. I have not gotten it chronoed yet, but i think it shoots about 350, which in wisconsin, that is about what you want. the one downfall i have is that the hop up is a little bad. all i needed to do is install a new bucking, and it shot buitifuly!!!! i am planning in the future to upgrade all of the gears, so i can run a 9.6 on it with no problem. right now i use a 8.4 4200 maah. mine i payed about 260 for, and it is worth every single penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I've had bad experiences with G&G, but like Armsdealer said, they may have fixed everything in later versions, so it's your call. Don't forget about G&P though - they're a touch on the expensive side, but once you change the hopup bucking, they are awesome. My M16 is doing ~400 and all I did was change the hopup bucking and give it a tightbore. But that's just my opinion. ---------- Speed and violence of action.

i own a gr16A3, i think that it is an awesome gun right out of the box, but i would probably upgrade the hopup it is kinda shady. i think it is a great gun, but i do know that there have been some pretty good jumps in other cheaper manufacturers that are probably comparable to the GR16, but they are about half the price.
