The true advantage of a  gas blow back system is the semi or full automatic firing capability and a very high muzzel velocity while still being compact to increase realism in replica war and cqb games. A blowback gas gun is a version which produces recoil and has a working slide. Any gas airsoft guns performance will depend on the temperature in which they're being used. The warmer the weather is the higher the velocity is.
